Much much better!

It was pretty easy to do. I read about how the Stebel can be split up and I found some space under my left cover against the frame. I used a clamp and wired it up and got the compressor to spin. I then used a clear hose and connected the compressor to the trimmed horn piece that I shoved back where the old horn went. It fit! Now I can blast everyone line in site lol

But seriously it's totally worth it. You can scare people with this thing. I like to honk at the farm animals and see if they run away.

Here are some pics

job Well done, just a tip thou you mounted the horn as I originally did and it will work well there untill you ride thru a heavy down pour ...... the next time you push the button instead of getting a Blast of heavy duty twin Airhorn you will get a gurlging ..........Bleep!!
turn it around so its openings face back to the headstock and you will find it will always work properly I also ZipTied it to the metal rod frame work in there to stop any chance of it moving around

And just to be a contradictory bastid...... ..... mine has worked well, in the same place, facing forward, for many many moons, and thru many many storms!!!

So!!

Mind you, it's got a scrap of flywire over it to keep the bugs out. Maybe that slows the rain down a bit too????

Well done mate

Nicely done. Mine's just in the side cover. Thought about splitting it as you've done but it fits nicely and is plenty loud where it is.

Same set up I have. Have to agree with HansO, water killed my first Stebel. Turned the second one around. It only lasted a year and is failing again. They have steel diaphragms in them and they rust right where they are supposed to seal. Could be from the all the humidity we have have here. Gonna try something different this time.
