It only took me 3 years to find these

Well painted carbon does look fantastic! That green is nice but brighter than I’m after, thinking I might need a layer of “smoke” over it, like a black candy to calm it down a bit.

Side note: Are you a painter?

Ya Rob, and candy colors are just a “tinted clear” that’s what makes them transparent, so the more coats you put down, the more the color deepens. That is why I suggest the concentrated candies to get deeper coverage with less coats, giving a darker final appearance - if you want even darker, spray an initial coat of clear, tinted with a little black mixed in it as a start. The darker the base color (before the candy color) the darker the final appearance will be.

Some say he is like The Phantom, Ghost who Paints but for a bloke who hadn't touched a spray gun for 20 years he did a pretty good job on his own R3 a few years ago.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Thanks Pete. Dat was nice

Your bike really is gorgeous, fancy spraying a little candy and clear!? LOL

(But I am serious).

I would love to do that for ya, but as Pete said, that job I did on mine was the first time in twenty some odd years I’ve done any painting. The reason is, believe it or not, even though I work at a collision repair shop (in the production office, not a tech) it took almost an act of Congress to be able to pull it off. Had to do it over a holiday shut down period. It is such a high production shop that there is never any down time between production jobs to squeeze in a custom job :(
Sorry
