Is this a drug??

I've been coming to both sites since April 18, 2007, the day I bought my Rocket, and I still to this day have not figured out the animosity some folks have over the folks on the opposite site. It's two sides of the same coin, there is very little that is available on one site that is not quickly available on the other. Kinda reminds me of the street gangs arguing over whose street is better, it don't matter to anyone outside of those two streets and the folks looking in from the outside think it's a stupid argument.

*****ing, complaining, crying,,hmmmmmmm,,,,yup, that sounds like the r3 forums:D:D

I get up early in the morning and check just to see who is doing any of the above:D
I turn right to the sarcasm and help wanted sections ... unless it's Sunday, then I like to read the funnies. :)

Can't put my finger on why it has always been, but I have rode a lot of different bikes but only owned British bikes. Norton, BSA, early Triumphs and now two Triumphs a Speedmaster and R3. But I still lust for my old kick start. Something so nice about starting with your weight only.... except when they don't start. Road a friends Sportster XLCH across county for a favor, only parked at the top of hills.

I had a plunger-frame 350 BSA when i was 16 years old. Used to teararse around the neighbourhood on it disturbing the peace . The thing only had 1st and 2nd gear and the headerpipe used to glow cheery red. I remember a copper caught me pushing it home one night after it had refused to be thrashed any longer..ha ha. The stupid fu#kin copper grabbed a handful of headerpipe to see if i'd been riding it, the glow had just dissapeared ... as did the copper, to seek first aid i'd reckon ... ha ha. An old guy spotted me on the BSA one day and offered to buy it there and then, I used the cash as a deposit on a 2 year old 1973 Triumph 650 Tiger, i loved that bike.

Hellfire,
Sorry, I didn't know that using the quote button was considered offensive here.
I use it to help give a conversation continuity. With only 7 posts you can't really expect me to know all the silly rules.
My apologies for using cartoons as well. Again, I didn't know they were reserved for members with high post counts.
As for getting personal, I wasn't but I used the word "fight" because thats how you phrased it.

I was hoping this didn't refer to me, but I was curious to know why you felt we "took a **** in your bar and picked a couple of fights with the regulars".

I'm also puzzled as to how I was supposed to know your OP was you teasing Scot and not your feelings about .com users in general?

Hellfire is always teasing me and vice versa it is all in good fun, it is only a web site and most members are invisible, that is why I like attending the RAA(Rockets Across America) meets you get to sit down and talk , drink , bull **** with the various members and to tell you the truth I have not met one member from either site that I did not like.:D
So all you members sitting on the fence about going to Maggie Valley come on down and join the rest of us, lack of funds is no excuse as long as you can get your arse to Maggie Valley you will be taken care of.:)
