no need to appologize Bruce you are right I do have a welded 18 inch model and am thinking of trying a 17 inch.

If you go to the Bridgestone 240/55-16, Suzuki uses this on the M109, so in theory, there should be more Suzuki dealers around the country than Triumph dealers... I've been using this tire for the last 6K miles or so, and I really like it.

Suzuki uses the Bridgestone but they don't use a 55 series they have a lower profile than the rocket 40 I think

The Suzuki M109R and C109R do use the Bridgestone 240/55-16.. that's what that tire size was designed for. You can even get one in white wall for the C109.. That would be interesting!.. lol Bridgestone makes the Excedra G852 for Suzuki.. followed up by the Excedra Max for the aftermarket..
