Is there anyone in north Dallas area that works on Triumphs other than dealer?

Well even though you asked specifically for someone other than a dealer, Eurosport in Fort Worth is a family owned business. I've only taken my bike there once for a tire change, cable replacement, oil change, and some other minor things. Overall, I was pleased with the service and price (was charged almost exactly what I was quoted). I am due for the 20,000 mile service and intend to take it back there after Summer is over with. I've heard bad things about the BMW dealership (can't recall the name) that claims to service Triumphs. It seems most 'garages' are averse to foreign bikes around here...yeah, they might work on them, but they really don't want to or perhaps hey lack Knowledge about Triumph.

Ditto Mael. Tony at Euro is trustworthy. Heard nothing bad on them. Can't say the same thing for RPM. I have had some issues with them. The guy who owned my Touring experienced nightmares with both service and billing. He wound up taking it all the way from Cedar Creek to Austin to get it worked on.

Tim, my tune still seems to be working fine and it's the same one we loaded in yours. Haven't seen any updates but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Eurosport in Ft.Worth repaired my Crankshaft sensor last year. Good people to deal with and been doing it a long time. Highly recommend them. Holler if I can help you in any way.

Nolton I have the one power-trip put on this site for Touring, a member installed it for me. I just want to check and see if it is still good. I don't have laptop or cable and don't have confidence in my ability to tune, I am not patient enough to learn new things.

I will pm you later about this.
Power-Tripps tunes are awesome butt........"

I had the valve the gas overflow hose connects to upside down, I turned the valve right side up and now no air pressure in the gas tank. Can anyone tell me what the valve is for, my guess is that it keeps overflow gas from coming out to fast.

I still have the stalling problem, I will check the hose lines and see if I can find anything. Is there a way to check the MAP sensor to see if it is good? Someone said that they removed the sensor on their bike and the stalling stopped. Do you have to go to dealer to get a Map sensor? I saw some used sensors on ebay but think I would be better off buying a new one if needed.

If you have tune ecu and there is a fault with the map sensor it would show the fault code plus most likely the engine light would be on. But if you want to check there is a vac line coming from each Throttle body to a quad fitting three small hoses go into one large one which runs to the map sensor. Also each Throttle body has a plug cap on one of the vac fittings and there is two on the rear throttle body. check these to make sure they are not dry rotted and cracked. while you at it in tune ecu check the balance of the throttle bodies. When if ever has the TPS sensor been changed/checked?
I agree with checking the vent hoses from the tank!
