Is performance synonymous with loud?

I'm really thinking about the gi pro with ATRE. Is there any reason not to get it? How's it cause the bike to run in very slow speeds, u-turns etc. This bike already has pipes and k&n filters I don't want to effect the reliability either.

It all depends on you. If you are one that just wants to get your tune set, running good and intend to NOT change components around or tinker for the "perfect" tune, and your priority is, "I just wanna ride, baby, ride." that gi pro with ATRE shall work just fine.

If you will be changing components around, breathing on your motor and searching for the best tune possible, the PCV+AT is the best way to go, IMHO.

You must have sensitive hearing, son; as I ran mine for a spell straight from the header and was amazed that it was quieter that my big V-Twin with a baffled Cobra 2 into 1 set up.

You are WAY smart to consider your hearing. I hope your caution applies to music and concerts as well. Similar to what Hanso related, I spent the 60s and 70s racing and competing in pistol competitions without proper regard for my ears. Now I wear hearing aids - what a PIA. Wish I had been more "enlightened" as you seem to be.

Best Regards,

If you are thinking of putting any of the TuneECU tunes that are available for you bikes set up it become nothing more than a gear indicator and as far as lospeed manouvering either the GiPro or a decent TuneECU tune will actually improve over stock as the advance timing smoothes out the bottom end, even if you just remove the secondarys it smoothes it and gives better response:)

Great to know. Potential low speed issues was really my main worries, its good so far I do tight u-turns with my girl on back with gear with ease, as a matter if fact this bike doesn't know the difference, I'm not even sure it knows I am there. Anything above 30 is awesome I'm yet to run into handling issues at speed. I chased a guy on a nice Harley through some nice twisties this weekend I had my gf on the back it was a blast. I think as soon as I can I'll get the GIpro, maybe a few weeks and I can. Its funny I've had this for a month and I'm already looking to make this beast more beasty.

Oh yea I already read your post on that after the gipro was brought up and its what made my mind up to get it. I was only a littlr concerned since its a new mod to me and I'd be taking out a couple pins to connect it, so if something weren't right it'd be too late.
