Had my R3 Classic since July, very happy other than its very "poppy"(cat bypass/standard pipes), and a few characteristics like erratic tickover, vibration were a tad annoying but accepted them as the norm. I had the latest tune recall done and it seemed to compound these issues. I read about the 12 minute tune and decided to give it a try this morning. Like a bloody fool last time out I left the ignition on park and flattened the battery, left the battery on charge all day and fitted this evening and carried out the tune........wow! what a difference this bike now is, whether it be the tune or disconnecting the battery I dont know but the bike is as I remembered the test ride bike which is why I bought it! anyone explain?

hard to tell now between the two... but a fully charged battery can add a hell of a kick. That may be why it feels like it did when ya road tested.
