I was waiting for the dust to settle
Now first question did the horns come with a relay and wiring diagram if so that's great, if it did not then you need to buy a 4 pin 30amp relay it should come with a wiring diagram.
You don't need to break into the switch as you will use the wires from the original horn assuming you are no longer going to use the original.
Ok to get thing started, where normally the positive wire is the switched wire but on the Rocket they have switched the negative wire and made the positive wire a constant supply, so with the wires disconnected of the horn and ignition turned on you will find using a multimeter set for DC volts to check the two horn wires and identify the positive wire and label it if you check the other wire there should be nothing until you press the horn button, having identified and labelled the wires turn ignition off and remove your horn fuse just to play it safe.
Get some 4mm (20amp) dual core wire long enough to reach back to the left side cover, which is where I suggest you mount the relay and compressor as it is out of the weather and close to power, you then basically follow the wiring diagram to wire up the relay using the negative/switching wire to switching side of the relay and the positive horn wire to what would normally be the earth side of the relay, you will need to run a negative/earth from bike frame or negative side of battery to the compressor and the positive output from the relay to the positive side of compressor and a fused positive 6mm (30amp) from battery to positive pin on relay, now put fuse back in turn ignition on and push horn button, all should be good.
All you now have to do is mount the horns a run the air hose to the horns
If there is no wiring instructions on relay take note of the numbers on it and I will tell you which is which.
if there is anything you do not understand in the instructions I have given please ask and I will clarify for you but do not attempt if you do not understand the only thing that is different to any supplied relay instruction is swapping the Switch wire with the Earth wire on the relay
If you prefer to you can always ask questions via PM
edit dam I knew by the time I finished typing this all out some one would have found an easier way of explaining it...... oh well
