So, while perfectly prepared to accept it's me, has anyone else had trouble installing the Rivco front bars on a 2006 R3?

The problem is that the engine mounting nut (left-hand side) is partially blocked by the plate that holds the clutch cable and I can't get a socket on it. I tried taking off the radiator end-cap and end-grille to loosen the clutch cable plate but couldn't get to the innermost bolt holding that on, either.

I don't recall other esteemed captains having the same problem ("piece of piss" was the last quote I heard on the topic).

Any ideas/suggestions?

fit rivco

still a piece of piss, can't see your problem unless your clutch cable bracket if fitted back to front. mine is bent forward so there is access to the nut although on an angle. if yours is sloping back you need to turn it around. looks like the radiator may need to be removed to achieve that though. good luck
