Increasing power and newbie questions

Welcome from Virginia ! You've come to the right place for things and people ROCKETS.

Might I suggest you spend at least a couple of weeks poking around on the site -- there are many thousands of posts here, with a richness of gems. Also look at the media where there are many examples of handiwork with the Rocket.

After that, then feel free to ask about things you have and have not seen.

Please keep the rubber side down, and look forward to your participation.

My suggestion is to ride the bike as is for a few thousand miles. Break it in hard so you can get a feel for the power of the stock setup. Once you get comfortable with it, then the pocketbook is the limit.....

Oh, welcome to the site from Northern Ontario.

It depends on how much you twist the throttle
Better yet, get a second bike... one for cruising and one for blasting off

At 230 HP and the proper exhaust upgrade you can add the wing kit and fly the thing..................Welcome from Indiana.

So is this accurate info? I can loose 50 lbs by replacing my stock exhaust?

What year is your bike ? You might add it to your profile - look in the forum "Introduce Yourself !!" and see the sticky there.

And not to be snippy -- if someone writes "If you crack two eggs and scramble, then add 1 cup of flour, and cut with a teaspoon of baking powder . . ." -- I would be taken aback by the person who says "Wow, great biscuits from one cup of flour -- is that accurate ?" Just sayin . . .
