If I got my cipfers correct

Alrighty then, I shall help you out . . .
You ride like driving Miss Daisey!
Yep been doing it for 51 years and seen a lot of boy racers come to grief after passing this wise old Fox, and millions of miles in 40odd years in big rigs also, pulled a few cowboys out of wrecks or sadly went to the Funerals,

Reckon you feel better now, M8? :p :inlove
Seriously, I have always bee jealous of guys like you.
I was always competitive with myself to a fault. Pushing my abilities as far as possible was my drug.
I still have trouble growing up and out of that.
Tis a tortoise and hare thingy, I reckon.

We are all different Bull , I am not saying I haven't been guilty of exceeding speed limits or load limits my driving record is proof of that ,but mostly it was a calculated risk not a habitual thing, it just get joy out of tagging along as tail end Charlie and setting my own pace and enjoying the ride, back to the fuel consumption subject, I can say with some confidence that the faster you drive or ride above 100kph your fuel is consumed at ever increasing rates also your fatigue factor increases , at 67 years of age I can still comfortably ride 1200klm days in 14 or 15 hours on the interstate Highways, the fuel consumption is not my reason for a more leisurely pace its just less tiring for me nowadays:):)

NOT putting you down, Mate!
I just wish my brain (which totally understands the reasoning) could maintain control of my right wrist!
Riding motor is a dish best served in moderation, NOT full on or full off.

All good Mate, When I see your forum Name I am reminded of the old story about the old Bull and the young bull looking down from a hill at a herd of cows ,the young one says lets rush down and jump onto a couple of them, the old bull says no we will take our time and jump the lot of them,:laugh:

There was an old copper movie with Robert Duvall as the senior and Sean Penn as the rookie. Twas titled Colors in 1988.
That old bull story was told by Duvall to Penn.
Since that day, I have used "olbull" as my handle and emails.
At the end of the flick Duvall did the best death scene EVER!

Saw that movie great sound track as well, and now I remember Robert Duvall telling the story in his drawly voice, strange how your forum name reminded me of the story, but not the movie until you mentioned it

I rode from Uralla to Thornton (350km) yesterday & used exactly 19 litres so that's 5.4 litres per 100km. (the fuel light came on at 280km)
I cruise along at about 120kph & hit 150 a few times while overtaking.
My bike has TORs with the OEM factory map. At the first service the dealer put a map in for the TORs but the bike started playing up so they put the original map back in.
I asked the mechanic if the original map would be too lean with the TORs & he said it'd be fine.
For some reason when they put the TORs map in my bike the TPS started playing up & the bike wouldn't idle. One minute it would be 800rpm then 1200rpm at the next stop. Also when you went to change up a gear the revs didn't drop straight away, it took a couple of seconds. So apparently they have ordered a new TPS & will try the TORs map again when they get it.

G'day Phil
I have a R3T and fitted TORs and a K&N filter in the OEM air box ,like my previous bikes I took it to Jamie at Sports Cycles at Whitebridge near Belmont Toyota and had it remapped and Dyno tuned ,he really knows his stuff
20000Ks since it was done and still goes fantastically the OEM tune with TORS is too lean according to most Tuners,
