About a 1934 ford be my guess. Proof you can register most anything if you know an engineer. Nice looking Rod, I'd prefer if it still had original front guards running boards and bonnet, but that's just me the owner no doubt loves it and that's all that matters.

Definitely a 34 ford grill and an injected big block but the chopped cab is more than likely not a Ford as all ford coupe utes had the small side window behind the door widow, could be a Willys or a Dodge or a made up bitza made up from a sectioned (cut and shut) sedan, the faint join line on the roof towards the rear of the door sort of gives it away, a good example of a rat rod.

I was looking at the vent infront of the windscreen too, thought it looked 34 or 35 ford.
