I don't post much but......

You can get the belly pan directly from Chris on Ebay. it comes in gloss black gelcoat so you'll need to get her painted to match. I left it black to match the motor at first but it looked too unfinished for me.

If you have the Triumph dresser bars you'll have to do some slight modification with a dremel tool. No big deal at all though....

A New England get together would be fine with me. Maybe a central location in New Hampshire or Vermont. How about a Kancamagus Highway trip?

Farkles are those gadgets and accessories that people tend to overdo and add to their bikes making them look like Goldwings or R1200GSs. I think I have every single one made. It's a problem I have but I ain't sorry. I love this stuff and this bike. I switch it around and change up the look from time to time. I change bikes every 3 years as a rule but I haven't been able to let this thing go. It's still a thrill, especially this year as I've grown to love the high rpm range. I actually run her at 4000rpm to 4500rpm. The power and sound are addictive up there.

As for the bellypan, yes that's a chris creation. It really complements and finishes off the front end of the bike.

you are more them welcome but I cannot take all the credit as it was Stevie Wonder who brought it to my attention.(I have had one for four years and used it once)

The back end also needed something to offset the marshmallow seat the Classic came with. The single seat would've been a better looking choice but I use the rear rack for a sissybar bag when I overnight so it comes in very handy. Thanks for noticing Scot:p

http://www.killingtonclassic.com/ For the past three years i've been going to the Killington Classic in Vermont . Perfect place to meet and greet all. I'm glad to see some Rockets coming to New England. I did see a red one last year in New Hampshire.

moklodge,
A nice sweet looking antique to be sure.
Perhaps a little too nice - you need to rack up more miles on it, Amigo.
Tis' the fast color you wisely chose as well.

****in nice ride mate. im guessing they didnt have any decent colour ones when you bought yours. Hey, **** happens, still nice lloking setup!:D

on a serious note, how brilliant is it that no matter how long you have a rocket, all you have to do is ride it or clean it and your in love all over again.

Nice pic by the way.

aye... did you paint your radiator guards? looks good.

Wild child.... i dunno for sure but i reckon that belly looks like a carbon dry if im not mistaken..

The Killington Classic could be a good plan. I don't tend to like hanging around a bunch of bike douchebags but if we had a side group, that could work. Lets' talk about it as it approaches again.

I bought the radiator guards from worldoftriumph.com during a blowout sale they had a few years back. Got 'em for $83! I never liked the standard chrome ones. I got the belly pan from R3owners.com before they discontinued it. I thought it was the same as Chris' belly pan on Ebay but I guess it could be a carbon dry. It's fiberglass and I had it painted to match.

As for miles, I have 17,000 since I have another bike (1968 Yamaha YR2 350 2stroke) that I use at times as well. It's blue too Ponters:thumbsup:
