- 2010 Rocket III Touring, Suzuki Boulevard M50
Alas, I've retired my two wheel riding. Since my 2010 Touring was totaled a year and a half ago, it's gone, and I sold my "downsizer" Suzuki M50. And I was going to get me a Harley FatBoy when I turned 70 (2 1/2 years ago). I have now done the unthinkable. As soon as I had room in the garage from selling the Suzuki, I just kind of had that "Ah Ha" and set my sight on something I never dreamed of a year ago. I had picked out one that checked all the boxes from a private seller that sold the same day I sold the Suzuki. So kept any eye out of "things I must have on it" and waited for one to pop up at the service center. I jumped on it the same day it hit and grabbed it.
No more wind in the hair, sadly, nor bugs on the face shield, but it will still do 0-60 in 3.1 seconds. Enough to beat most Harleys at the line, anyway.
I'm not going to miss crawling under to change oil, or other necessary upkeep, either. I'm just too tired.
Not going anywhere from all the fine people on here, either!! Got to get my thrills from you guys' stories.
My wife is much happier, too.
Here it is.
I usually keep it in Chill mode, but if I am in front at a stop light, on goes sport!
Cheers!
