I don't post much but......

The Killington Classic could be a good plan. I don't tend to like hanging around a bunch of bike douchebags but if we had a side group, that could work. Lets' talk about it as it approaches again.

I bought the radiator guards from worldoftriumph.com during a blowout sale they had a few years back. Got 'em for $83! I never liked the standard chrome ones. I got the belly pan from R3owners.com before they discontinued it. I thought it was the same as Chris' belly pan on Ebay but I guess it could be a carbon dry. It's fiberglass and I had it painted to match.

As for miles, I have 17,000 since I have another bike (1968 Yamaha YR2 350 2stroke) that I use at times as well. It's blue too Ponters:thumbsup:

fairdinkum...they must sell that colour paint cheap your way;)

You can tell I do not post much.... took me two tries to get this in.
Maybe a bit late in the season up in the North East this year. I'm still riding every day but weather, freezing etc. could change without much notice. If ever there is an interest, there are some amazing rides up here. Kancamagus is certainly one but there are many more which are less traveled as well. If anyone has an interest I would be happy to help with planning. Could be a lot of fun and for us "northerners" not much chance to play with other R3's. Perhaps a "Spring '14 would be an option.

That's what I was thinking. Too many leaves dropping on the wet roads to do that this time of year. Spring/Summer more like it. And the highway would only be part of the trip. Last time I went up there, I planned a great trip up that included lots of killer back roads but I like to include the Kanc for those 100mph sweepers!

Sounds like you are nominated to plan a ride. I think there is one next year on Colorado in June some time so a spring ride might be just the ticket!!

Hey, glad there is interest. It would be fun. And anyone who has not road up this way would enjoy it for sure. Maybe a mix of mountain and coastline. I've lived up here for 28 years and the Rocket has done about 15,000 miles the past 2 years Maine & New Hampshire mostly.
Give it a name, some date options and we can get started!
