I am trying to visit the Triumph factory!

Hey Tony that's a possitive start...
James Boags is the accepted currency :bch:

I was on a tour a while back after they had officially stopped. It was very interesting and I can reccomend it. I did hear they were starting them up again.

That could be good news, I will contact them again and see what gives.

Encouraging news!!!
Triumph has replied to my email and are getting in touch with the factory to see if they can arrange something

If it works out for you perhaps you could put me on your visitor list, I don't live far from Southampton, well compared to distances in OZ anyway - and I can do a reasonable Aussie accent.

that'd be entertaining ... listening to a Pom trying to pull-off an aussie accent ... Mittzy don't miss this opportunity

Absolutely I reckon all than can make it should come, but I better get the gig first, then see if we can get more in......

I will grab this opportunity with both hands mate, can't really of ford to be going to England in the first place, so it would be the icing on the cake...

That'll do for me - if you can, you can - if not, no worries.

and I'm sure you wouldn't pass-up the opportunity to ponce a beer or two off me either. :bch:

You better believe that!!!!!
Only if the beers are cold

I tried to go thru a few years back. I applied online - no reply, then I got in touch with Gary McDonald from Triumph Aus. who tried to get me in. Although I had an 18 month window, they came back with because the thunderbird was going into production - no tours. Hopefully you have better luck.

... three times you reckon , crickey !!!

Yep, three times and that was both of 'em, impressive 'innit.

To be honest though it was more to do with the 'effin BBC repeating everything over and over than a real desire to learn Aussie speak.
