It's a very easy walkthrough to follow. The mods should pin it and archive the pictures. I was able to follow it with no difficulty despite the fact that I have no automotive or motorcycle repair experience.
when I put the 62-1340 on and tightened the hose clamp the filter slid up off the nipple because the inside diameter of the filter was too large in comparison to the outside diameter of the nipple, so I used the 62-1330 which has a flange diameter of 1/2" as opposed to the 62-1340 which has a flange diameter of 5/8".
I could be wrong and it's a lot time since I did this - 6 years ago - (and I pig9r's pics seem to have gone), but I thought the filter went onto the rubber hose, not the nipple. I don't have the bike to check. Can anyone else confirm?
...makrs it perfect. Few bike through a little oil, not mine...! :-}
And RamAir has an cable extension 4 theair temperature sensor. With K+N you need to cut and sold...
