Ah! you would be right but I'm a transplanted South African a$$hole! been here 35 years though so I've mellowed a bit. Mellowed is another way of saying that I got tired of banging my head against a wall.
I did say coming from Canada and not from a natural Canadian... :)

But you are doing a service to the tradesmen there. I bet the dry wall installers stay busy... :)

First we hear you can't do wheelies on Rockets with their motors then they decide to take months to deliver exhaust... So glad I have no interest in their services or products.

That never said that you can't, just recommend that you don't. :D

They probably just have a lot of work.
This is a stock answer from small companies - often when they have reached critical mass. i.e to hire another technician will also require another supervisor.
The answer SHOULD be then to say "sorry we're overbooked". But ALMOST nobody ever does unless they are confident.
I know a place (gun related) in the US that often replies - we cannot even start your order inside 6 weeks - do you wish to continue? - But as they are pretty much the ONLY option - most folk simply order early. They take part payment on starting - the rest on shipping.

imo Any company that takes FULL payment up front is intrinsically weak somewhere.
That or too many of their customers are flakey - in itself shows something about the business model.
