Was sitting in my chair relaxing drinking a cup of coffee and posting trying to help someone with the information that i have and i realized i was having a good time. It is very satisfying when someone says thanks the bike is running great.
I know sometimes it makes you sad
when they don't listen when you take your time to post . I know about 10 years ago when i joined this group/site i had to take time outs.
But now not so much maybe just mellowing out in my old age.

If you're going to give information best do it now because it is one of the things that you take with you when you go.
It's too bad that you can not pass it on like a computer down load but as long as this site is going there will be a little left behind

Yeah it's a great idea. Download all your years of knowledge and - importantly - experience, for the young-uns to digest, save themselves so much time, and avoid all the mistakes.

But you know what? Mostly, they're not interested.

That is very true they just see it as a weakness if they get information from older people. When i was young one of the older mechanics said watch out he's looking (meaning me) over your shoulder trying to learn something.
Also over the years I have learned that people helping you can be painful.

I enjoy most of the posting that I do but I do not have a lot of mechanical information to pass on. I may not be young but I’m still listening and learning. I’m more of a joker and a stirrer of the pot for entertainment. I know I entertain myself but I hope a few members enjoy my wisdom less words. ;)

Always enjoy your posts
I think that everyone tolerated the mechanics because they are necessary
