Horn cover embellisher thingy

Get rid of it. Cheap crap must be removed at every turn. I replaced mine with an ass kicker billet terminator skull piece. Tomorrow I get the jaw to match. I'll fabricate metal "ligaments or muscle" to bind the two. Then LED red eyes!

Actually it was advertised on e-bay as a harley horn cover.
It now hides half of the stebel, the trumpet part.
I got it because I'd never seen one like it, and ya'll know me,
i like different, besides, it has a "rocket" look to it....
I thought it followed the theme,
but,,,, one thing I did notice was when I come down to hard off a wheelie,
the points do hit the fender and scratch it a little..
No big deal once I get harder springs in....
It's fixin' to come off anyway once I get my headlight bracket,
there won't be room for it there....

Worked on both bikes this last weekend. Such cool stuff at Skullenterprises and the owner is a great guy. Right now we are working on the right side skull intake for the VTX...the left will require some custom welding. When done it will be unique as far as I know. On the Rocket I changed pegs to the multiple skulls for the rear set, picked up billet skull rear LED signals for the ass end so I can use the OE's for .22 practice. Not sure where the plate will end up; on the side or up top. Need to clean up the nice tire. Get rid of the cheapie clutter!

Anyway, the skull is triple friggin cool!!!!! Two artists were involved and I'm fabricating parts too. Both cranium and mandible are billet and nearly exactly match up. Serious attitude...will have LED eyes red or magenta or cobalt blue. Way more to do. Nitrous, Ohlins suspension, airbrush accents....****, it may never be done! CERTAINLY not by me anyway.... I'll send PIX when it is at a stage I like guys. Later
