If you have an R3T and you are going to copy this very nice design you will have to do a bit of re-designing so that you have access for the rear seat bolt.Probably just moving or shortening the base plate.

If you don't have the nessesary/required sissy bar brackets my quick release kit would be perfect for this, thus making it detatchable too.

I would have gone that route if it weren't for the custom saddlebag brackets. No room for the studs on my setup sadly.

Great write up. When I do mine I want to make it reversable so I can use it for back support. How much do you want for the tour pack with lights?
