I took a class with Mr. Spliff one night but we never finished the project. Seems like security on campus was pretty slack and every time we'd turn around another tool was stolen. Then my neighbor Buzz came over and none of it seemed that important any more anyway.

If you have an R3T and you are going to copy this very nice design you will have to do a bit of re-designing so that you have access for the rear seat bolt.Probably just moving or shortening the base plate.

If you don't have the nessesary/required sissy bar brackets my quick release kit would be perfect for this, thus making it detatchable too.

I would have gone that route if it weren't for the custom saddlebag brackets. No room for the studs on my setup sadly.

Great write up. When I do mine I want to make it reversable so I can use it for back support. How much do you want for the tour pack with lights?
