75 mil  what is that used on Ken ?
Paul ,It came in a box of assorted tools we bought from an Auction of equipment at the State Rail Locomotive Workshop at Chullora when they relocated to private contractors at Auburn in the mid 90s along with some huge ring spanners they must have needed for working on the steam locos, never found a use for the larger ones but they make an interesting taking point ,like the huge nuts and bolts at the base of the Sydney Harbour bridge ,if they ever need tightening up we have a spanner for them:laugh::laugh:

Size matters! :D;)

One of the many nuts holding the Sydney Harbour Bridge on its abutments. This one is at Milsons Point (the north end), and a man's hand is shown for scale.

Sometimes you just have to do what needs to be done. If you don't have the right size hex drive something like this can do the trick too

Funny but I just changed my tires and used the nut and bolt technique for both front and rear axles. After the reinstall, I decided to purchase the proper tool, found and bought this on Ebay for $24.99 with free shipping: ABN® Master Hex Socket Set – 32 pc Universal SAE and Metric Allen Socket Bit Kit. Seems good quality with many assorted sizes.

For $30 I'll go to Harbor Freight
8 Pc 1/2 in. Drive Metric Impact Hex Socket Set

That being said I have made some tool stuff. Used shock becomes bandsaw feed cylinder complete with check valve piston - Didn't want to pay Wells $900 for the missing cylinder. (about 2X what I paid for saw)
