Headlight switch to street triple 765r/rs

Haven't taken it out yet. The only thing I don't like is one side is high beams and the other is low, so I put in a diode to allow low beams to be on with high beams.

Thats an odd way to have a headlight setup. Having both on at the same time seems ideal

I thought the headlight was defective, but it's designed that way—pretty dumb. So when low or running lights are on, you have the eyebrows and the left light on, but with the high beams all the lights are on, and the look or style is much better than the stock.And now I read that the new Rocket is coming out with a similar style of headlight for 2027-28?

It's the same headlight setup as my Speed Triple RS. Normally just the low beam is on plus the DRL's.

How is visibility at night. Do they light up the road pretty good

Really good when ya have it adjusted right and not looking for UFO's

Thats pretty interesting if the new rockets use that style. If they are like the car industry, they are working on the 2028/29 model already. Would be nice to see some kind of changes. Would be nice if they unlocked the ECM so you could tune with tune ecu

You can lock it I did mine it costs about 800.00 for a handheld to flash it with

You can Unlock the ECU and flash it and take off all the limiters

Yeah, if you get the right diode, you can fix it really quick and easy. I'll post a picture. The plain end goes towards the high beams and the striped end towards the low beams. It allows the current to only go one direction towards the low beam when the high beam is on. Here is a quick sketch of the plug diagram looking at the back of the plug going into the headlight. The numbering might not be the stock numbering but it's my numbering. Hope this helps you out.
