Sportster S (looking to get a Rocket 3)
I’m on the verge of getting my Rocket 3. I opted for the GT. As fun as the R was, I think the GT is just more comfortable and practical. Especially as I’m only 5”7’.
The bike I’m looking at is a mint low mileage 2022. As part of the deal I’m going to ask them to move the forwards back to the mid position. I’m presuming they are the same foot pegs, just relocated? Any ideas how long this would take them to do, in case they try it on with parts/labour for doing it.

Many thanks.

About $500 in the kit to do this change
Plus other $500 for dealer installation (which requires brakes bleeding) or maybe less if you can install and just bring it to the dealer for programming.

Try moving the pegs back to the furthest back position first and see if that works better. You can do it yourself. I moved the pegs from the second position back to the far rear position. Took 20 minutes. The bike should come with the shift rod extender already installed and you only need to remove that piece. The brake side is simply remove the two allen bolts, reposition where you want and reinstall allen bolts, torque to spec. The shifter side is a bit trickier only to get the shifter lever where you want it with adjusting the linkage rods. It's not Rocket Science, it's simple maintenance. If that's not enough then maybe spend the money to go to mids.
