You must be joking lol. I do most all my service like everything. I'm not concerned most of the things said here I was planing on doing except for flush the brakes? I am very comfortable with doing the work myself. Very few things would I take it to the shop for but thats just me I suppose..
I am sure the battery had gone bad in 3 yrs....The computer systen may need to be retuned...
I would hook up a new battery after the fuel has been changed out ....turn the ign. switch on for 30 seconds then back off...turn on again....twist throttle to full power for 10 seconds then release the throttle.....turn off...then try to start engine.....once running....shut engine off........restart.....Do not touch the throttle.....and let run until cooling fan comes on....then let it run 12 plus min..and do not touch the throttle during this time...
Well I got a new battery this morning put it in. Started it. (Old gas was red from stable figured wtf why not) started it let it warm up fully. Checked for leaks. Put helmet on filled up tank with new gas. Bout two gallons than rode around 60 sum miles. Runs great happy as can be at the moment. Needs a new front rubber bad though

joey fletcher,
You seem to know stuff. This procedure you have outlined is interesting to me.
Would you mind going into more detail regarding the why and what fore of the specific steps?
Thank You,
