I liked the USD forks since the R3 came out, and have considered retrofitting them to the Touring. Has anyone gone before me on this endeavor?

UMM What is USD forks?
Black forks are from a roadster and is for ABS and the axle fits from the right side to the left (Sitting on bike) and the Silver forks are from the classic, standard and the axle fits from the opposite direction.

I like how it has two sets of controls - not sure if the front set is connected tho

There are some wonderfully thought out touches. And I have a sneaking suspicion it will corner VERY well.

Agree with you 100%. The reviews on the R3T state it is a great handling ride with that narrower rear tire.

What kind of exhaust is that?

Great looking bike.
