Now thats a great idea. But my wife frowns on that sort of thing.

Just a theory - I know this should not be an answer - but would applying a wax similar to Barbour jacket sealant make any sort of difference. Triumph must be aware that there is negative feedback on these items

Stollydriver..nice thought but believe me, no coating of wax would solve this issue. We're talking totally 100% soaking.

I have a GT on order - will get the mounts but hold off on the panniers. Hopefully Triumph will do some sort of update to stop this obvious mis manufacture

Ya like they will sell a coat with mud and debris already on it so you don't notice

What I meant was - maybe an alternative material, if there are enough complaints - surely it would be addressed

Im thinking maybe the existing fender may be used. Have it coming out from under the tail light area with a tail tidy on there..if its too short then have one manufactured ...dunno till i get my bike and have a good look..
