Grip fitting advice please...

Fitting a pair of Kury grips with triumph throttle sleeve, is it best to loosen cables at the carb end or back off the adjusters at throttle end.... because obviously i need some slack...or do I?

I wouldn't mess with the cable adjustment. Can't you loosen the bars (all the way) and move the bar enough then to do the job without messing with the cable adjustment?

You got it right! Actually I slid mine on before setting it in the clamps. Went real quick. Cover the tank with a towel just n case.

I loosend the cables at throttle end.I didnt have to cut old grips of.I didnt use the glue that5 came with the grips to start with but had to in the end because they started to come off.I noticed that there is more side to side movement on the throttle than on the standard grips and wasnt keen to start with.See what you think.
