Those there mufflers are genuine 1972 Triumph Hurricane units, very rare !

I'm familiar with the exhaust cutout valves as we used to put them in our hot rods "back in the day" to beat the cops and of course be cool. I was just surprised that there was practically no difference in this set up whether it was open or closed?o_O It did sound pretty good though when he launched.
The welds underneath were very good but he was clearly going for the "look" not performance as they were all kinda cobbled to a common plenum as if the reverse of the stock header manifold.

Not exactly my cup of tea either but, as Fred would say, "yet stimulating":roll:

I think my litmus test for whether a bike's "got it", or "something", is if it makes me think even for a second, "I'd like to ride that thing for about 20 minutes just to see what it's like." And........since I'll never have the time to build or try all these great ideas I really appreciate everyone elses' motivation and creativity. That's why motorcycles are so awesome. The End.
