This pulled up at the Triumph dealer near Harrisonburg, Va the other day. I really like the guys ideas and thought I'd post the picture's.
He had designed an electric actuated exhaust cutout where the crossover would be with a stubbed shorty turnout pipe on the opposite side. He demonstrated reving it normally, and then with the cutout. It sounded exactly the same to me! Really LOUD!
Nice looking bike !
Not a new idea with the control flap tho ,
The vintage Bentley coupes had an exhaust control flap mounted at the junction between the headers and the centre piece . Controlled by a knob via a cable , it was the 1930s sport mode !
Do like the paint scheme!
Like the two tone seat.
Front fender is too short!
Shockies suck!
Pipes look like a dog taking a piss.
Just my opinion and worth spit!
Exhaust cut out as stated have been around since the 30s you can buy Electric ones them for a lot of performance cars Carline Mufflers in OZ fit them (for off road use only) the pipes IMHO look great a bit of a blast from the past
