Got a "Brake Free" helmet brake light.

Got this light yesterday seems well made and works real good. Pretty happy with it so far. I ride to work early in the morning so its always dark so this should he me be seen. A little pricey but its worth it to me. They have their own website but I got mine from amazon because I could get it the next day. It has 3 different stationary light modes.

I've had one for a couple of years and have had no issues with it. Riders behind me tell me it works well. Good choice, especially in the dark.

+1 Anything that helps keep you safe is a good idea. There are just too many things out of our control to contend with.

In addition to the Brake Free I also have....

• Air vest (good enough for racers, good enough for me)- already put to use
• Leathers (pants and jacket)- perforated in summer and still hot as fusk
• Marker Lights on front
• Full face helmet
• Front and rear dash cam
• Fobo tire pressure sensors

Ride hard. Ride often.

I definitely wanna get an air vest and the cameras by next years riding season. I didn't even know the airbag vest were a thing till this year.

I have one on the back of my Sena modular which already has a static red light on the lower back edge. I was concerned the Brake Free might add too much weight but turns out I do not feel any weight difference. I do what I can to add more lights on the back of my bikes to improve my survival chances. For example I've added a very expensive Custom dynamics tail/brake light to my Harley with a module that I can set to the number of times it flashes my brake light when stopping to get attention. Have always added Signal Minder gizmos to my Rockets that do not have auto turn signal cancelling so they will auto turn off after time and/or distance settings. Plus they can flash all turn signals several times when braking. I am always amazed by the entrepreneurs among us that recognize a problem and invent clever solutions.

PS Anyone know if the 2015 Rocket III Roadster has auto cancelling turn signals? I ask because I might buy one.
