Aftermarket Brake Levers - Experiences?

The factory levers are a tad too far out for me.

Any experiences with the Voigt-mt levers?

Have read the boards helpful content on Probrakes and the ebay AVDB levers. Am aware of the Wunderkinds.

Other suggestions before pull the trigger?

AVDB you mentioned. Easy to install, fully adjustable. I went down and the clutch lever folded up instead of breaking, as designed. Can't imagine anything could be any better

Custom replacement clutch/brake levers for 2.5

Just replaced my stock levers with foldable adjustable custom levers from AVDB Moto (French). You'll find them on eBay. Choose between short, long, "flip up" in a variety of colors. I got the flip up (fold instead of break) adjustables so I could set the length for the clutch to three fingers...

I've replaced the levers on almost all my bikes to shorties. I haven't done that with the Rocket (at least not yet).

The reason I went with shorties was ease of use. I didn't try a bunch of different brands on a single bike, one that's a very expensive proposition, and two I was after something that fit my hand better and took less effort. The shorter levers only takes two fingers effort to pull to the bar. The OEM levers were OK on all my bikes with the exception of my Thunderbird's levers, they were huge and way too far from the bar making it more difficult to work them AND they were the only ones from the factory that weren't adjustable (I'd like to discuss that item with the nerd in charge of design). On my Speed Triple I wanted a faster response at the lever with a shorter throw so got the correct feel from the levers I installed. One thing to note on the Speed Triple is that it has an adjustable throw for brake piston actuation so the new lever had to incorporate that as well:

My GT has an adjuster screw to modulate the amount of lever travel as well, although it isn't incremented like my S3 for 19 to 21mm. on the brake So far I haven't felt a need to change the levers on my GT but if I do I'll be going with shorties again because I just like the way they fit my hand.
