It'll be good to have you back. I've gone through a few Harley's, the last being a 2007 Road Glide. I agree with Elivis, the cost was too high to maintain. In my case, it wasn't the mechanics, just all the options to make a feeble attempt to customize it different than someone else. What sealed the deal was when I went on a trip with my wife. The two of us, with a loaded down tourer, pulling a loaded down camper. The suspension was sub-par and no acceleration even possible. I could fix the suspension, by it would take thousands of dollars and no reliability to get more power. This site solid me on the Rocket III Touring. Yes, I too was concerned about the ignition and grips breaking, but these guys gave the fixes just in case it happens.
