@BigNorm i been looking into the aluminium whiskey throttles Big Norm and I likely! My question is before I buy it. My stock handle bars are 1 inch will the 1 inch whiskey throttle tube replacement fit over my 1 inch handle bars?

They should. Most Harley throttle tubes have worked for others. I'll have to machine the end so I can use the TRIUMPH bar end. Not sure when I'll get to it but it's on my list.

I doubt it. I'll just slather some Honda lube on there.

No point in wasting a high pressure grease. Good Low melting point grease and maybe some 1/4mm thick RIGID Teflon tape (IF YOU CAN FIND IT).
Most throttle tubes are 26.5mm bore.

A biltwell aluminum throttle tube is on my wish list.

It wouldn't fit on my 2012 roadster, I had to grind the throttle housing down with a dremel.
