Be very carefull when you petrol up, if you hear a hissing sound it means the TPS is on the way out and if that happens the petrol tank can and will implode and if you hear a ticking sound between 45/70mph it means the middle spoke on the rear centre wheel is corroded and if that gives out the wheel will leave the bike.
Enjoy the new bike.:D

first, Welcome to the site.
the external meglatron has been known to go out on occasion,
but only if you ignore it when it starts making that "cricket" sound.
Don't worry tho, if it fails, it usually only does it at higher speeds,
so listen for that for sure.
Other than that, the occasional tire change, and chain tightening, you should be good.
WELCOME,

The biggest thing to worry about is when you hear a ticking sound after you turn the engine off. Run. Run fast and run far if you hear that. The other thing to worry about is when strangers walk up to you. Be careful of them; they probably intend to mug you. ;)

Welcome from Oz.
