I get 35 mpg or less . . . Always have.
Always been dynoed to get most rwhp, so I accept it.

Hey guy's,

Does this beast run fine on regular fuel or does it thirst for super unleaded.
What's the best fuel mileage you've gotten out of it?
My right wrist has a twitch which keeps the throttle cranked open most times.
Gotta get that twitch fixed.

Thanks,
My 05. We did a lot of full tank testing back in the days, years ago and no mpg change and no dyno change. Seems the tractor engine is tuned for regular. If you have done serious mods like Carpenter kit or other fine tuning it might matter. I have power commander 3 and it doesn't care. Acceleration is not noticeable for anything more or less by my accelerator app.
Feeling with your heart and butt, I have believed there were differences, but measurements proved no diff.

When I had my gsxr600, someone ran back to back dynos with regular and premium, they're tuned for regular
He actually lost a couple hp with premium, I have to believe that the higher octane doesn't begin ignition at the optimal point, that's just my reasoning, could be wrong. Carpenter told me to run regular in my 240, that's what it's tuned for, don't waste my money.

Using super unleaded in an unmodified bike is like throwing money down the drain, as for MPG why buy a 2300cc buike and even give one thought to MPG???????? plus gas over here is cheaper than water:D the early bikes asked for 89 us
But even on the early ones 87 is fine per my call to Triumph USA.
