Front engine main bearing

My front engine main bearing is walking forward.
Wondering if it can be replaced by removing lower section of engine

Also is this a weakness in this design
Or Wondering what might have cause it to fail

I can't remember ever hearing of a bearing failure before

Was quite surprised when I found it
Started making some noise,
plus the oil pressure was bit erractic.
Hoping to slip a new bearing in from underneath.
The rest of the motor was doing fine

I assume you are referring to balance shaft bearing? Case has to split. Erractic oil light means something is wrong. Post a picture of the bearing.

Yes I know case needs to be split
Bearing is directly behind lower timing chain gear
