If your front is standard size for your Roadster, then tis NOT an ECU issue.

The front tyre is the stock size, my guess it will be the slightly bent ABS disc as suggested here.

Yep, the ABS disc was running slightly out of true, removed it from the wheel and trued it up, at least the ABS light has not come on after a 50km ride.

Early opinion was it actually improved a slight discrepancy in odo v true road speed

The tyre has definitely trued up the speedo to the actual road speed but is the odometer now registing slightly less km with the bigger tyre?
