I've been playing a bit more with throttle in lower gears, holy sheet....

So Steel and the other folks with Carp motors.... when you use full power in 2nd does it wheelie or spin the back tire? I am just trying to know which to expect. In 3rd and up she just goes like hell.

@Steel I think your the only other person with a 265+ kit on the board, do you feel the torque spike at 4500ish visible on your Dyno or does it feel like a linear torque curve? I ask because I expected it to feel like a turbo hitting and it feels totally smooth to my (fairly sensitive to torque variations) butt Dyno.

Also, a mileage comment, got 30 mpg mixed on the first tank. I see sub 90 mile tank ranges in my future lol.

OK so you would like to have CARPENTER RACING stickers Ill get you some how many ?

Like I said before, she's mild mannered (for an R3) below 4500 rpms. When she gets above 5000 all the way to 9000 she pulls like nothing I've ever ridden. I have walked away from a couple of GSXR 1000's on rolling starts. at 50, 70, and 90 mph rollons.
At 50 mph in 1st if you roll hard on the throttle she will stand up until you let off to shift.
Running through the gears hard, shifting at about 8500 rpms, you will feel the front tire lose touch with the road in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Which is 70, 110, and 140 mph. I wouldn't call it a wheelie, but you can tell it's not really touching the ground. I've never had any wheel spin on dry roads, but I'm 270 pounds so a lighter rider may have a different experience.

YES 1st and 2nd are exciting it will wheely if you have good traction so be careful till youget the feel of the big beast treat it like a Sport bike till your used to the RUSH of power that can surprise you if your not ready and you can expect the same or better mileage than a stock Rocket if your cruising I get 40 + when cruising and its also smoother than a Stock ROCKET and of course the engine wants to rev and youll find yourself FYING along WAAAY over the speed limits before you realize whats happening OH YES LOTS OF FUN a very intoxicating RUSH of Power GOOD STUFF if your a speed freak LOL

been on a diet? I have seen this boy eat and it is not a pretty sight.

Working on getting there Steel. Been consuming all the things, only 73 pounds away

Though, if I put on 73 lbs of muscle I'm going to look like a really white Incredible Hulk.

OK JOEY HOW MANY STICKERS WOULD YOU LIKE ?
