Finally things start to settle down and few questions

Sal, I am coming in a bit late on this but just to confirm, I have the Jars and had the Triumph dealership download what was supposed to be a compatible tune for the Jars, which is the one for the TORs. It is still too lean at the lower RPMs, or with the throttle almost closed. I have a GiPro and a PC3, with the O2 sensor bypass, and will be getting it dynoed prior to riding to MV. Good luck with yours.

Oh, and how are you getting along with the sound of your Jars? I think they are a bit harsh and am trying to tone them down a bit.

Mike I have TOR's, they were loud when I fitted them so I turned the tip's down and that cut the tone down a bit.

Thanks for putting your two cents here, but I’m kind of confused of what you are saying (or maybe I’m completely ignorant about this topic), how do you ask the dealer to download a tune and at the same time you have PC3, I thought PC3 (or Tuneboy, TuneECU) better than any dealer tune in case of aftermarket accessories like Jardine and triple K&N?

I love the Jardine sound, actually I heard that Jar sound gets better after the triple K&N mod and I’m looking for that too, I thought you have the triple K&N mod installed right?

Sorry got the Tor's and Jar's mixed up, I don't know if you can rotate the jar's to face the slash cut down.

When I was in Texas last week my friend Jeff rode down to my daughter's house on his "new" 06 Rocket. He has the TORs and I have to say that I think they sound better than the Jardines.

Sal and I have exchanged PMs on the proper tunes for the Jars and the issue of decel popping. I am still uncertain if this can cause damage if not resolved. I still have not yet installed the PC3 and the backpopping is the only reason I would do so. Other than that, it runs great.
