Finally a Rocket Roadster Owner

Hello and welcome from the UK...:) Hope that your stalling problem gets sorted soon mate.

Welcome from Florida.Hopefully just minor adjustments are needed to have the bike running like a beast. If the cats are in the mufflers as they are onR3T's that would be a good starting point for mods. If you like quiet go /w tors if not go w/ D&D,s or others.

G'day and welcome. The stalling may be caused by an incorrectly set Primary TPS. Get them to check that, or do it yourself with TuneECU. Easy check and easy fix.

Goo switch on the Rocket from the America. Both great bikes, but Roadster....

They have mine right now fixing a weak detent spring that has mine popping out of gear from time to time. Its a '13, so it should not be the typical gear popping issue. However, not overly happy that the detent spring went at 8k miles.

But, it is only $500 I have spent on it since I bougth it for maintenance.

Hello Ron and welcome from VA. I had the stalling issue too, it was the TPS needing adjustment. Several others had the same issue, almost seems normal that the factory sets them a certain way only to have the dealers set them correctly. Call your dealer and let him know to check the TPS, it took my dealer about 15 minutes to fix it. That was 31,000 miles ago on my 2014.

Thanks for all the welcoming gestures!! I will be spending a lot of time on this site now. Where would I look or search for things that I should know about or do to my new ride? I have already figured out that the rear shocks suck and that I need to replace the quiet exhaust with a little meaner sounding replacement, already leaning towards the CES Racing exhaust at this point. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks again, Ron
