2015 rocket x... doing the same thing I have right at 400 miles on her and when I come to a stop it dies on me, frustrating for a new bike.

Welcome from Mississippi! At 2400 miles she shouldn't be stalling or backfiring. Could be something as simple as a loose connection in the air system, but definitely worth taking it in.

I will be driving up to Philadelphia Mississippi next week on the X any good roads in the area ?

I don't know about either? They used to be tied to how long you'd been on the forum, 020, 040, etc. not sure when it changed cause I never bothered with it. But pretty sure now you can make it what you want, just don't know how?
As for the roads, I only lived here in south MS for a year before I headed to Germany. Other than riding the Natchez or pine barrens I don't know any roads around here. Just got my bike back from Germany a week ago.

that's cool thanks. okay im here to pose a question I have been inherently a sport bike guy and always had leathers and full face helmets. I bought a classic old school helmet to go with the rocket and it just doesn't feel right. whats everyone wearing any advice on a really good helmet that goes with the rockets style?

I rode it home with a half helmet that I used to wear when I rode my 02 America but that didn't feel right. I felt that I needed a full face to ride on a "Rocket" so I tried a full face Scorpion that I bought while on a ride up around the Finger Lakes that the weather turned bad and rain was forecasted for a couple days, but I am leaning towards a Shoei Neotec which is a modular. That is my thinking anyway!

Agreed, full face seemed the way to go. looks like Ill be pulling out some old helmets. safe riding man.
