Journeyman, do you also remove the cush drive and grease the inner splines?
 
It said that this stuff replaced the one recommended in the thread. M77 Replaces Moly 60- Apparently So | Cleaning, Oil, Maint. I guess not....nothings easy....ok, found this stuff TS Moly Spline Lube 2 Oz.
I had some great moly paste from Beamer Boneyard I used when I had a R1200RT, but not sure if they still carry it. There's post after post about the content of this or that product and how formulas have changed (always lowering moly content), so I decided to make my own. Now I use moly grease from auto parts store (low amount, I'm sure) and mix in moly I got from Amazon. I've found that when I open things up again for a clean and re-lube that my concoction holds up super well.

You're like a mad scientist. ha ha love it....my father used to use this stuff on his VW's. I thought I still had some around. But maybe I'll get your powder and mix it in this stuff. Amazon.com
