Coming from a 2.3 to the 2.5, I wondered if anyone has figured out how to grease the drive splines inside the final drive? Or is it not something that needs doing on the 2.5s? Do the splines run in oil?

Has anyone seen a video showing how its done?

Can I assume that the bevel box runs in oil so those gears need no maintenance?

Rick,
That grease will not work on the splines. You need to.find some high strength moly lube. 60% moly
Honda use to sell it, but not anymore. What you bought is for when you disassemble the motor, and then use the assembly grease when putting the engine back together. Cam shafts, crank bearings ect.

It said that this stuff replaced the one recommended in the thread. M77 Replaces Moly 60- Apparently So | Cleaning, Oil, Maint. I guess not....nothings easy....ok, found this stuff TS Moly Spline Lube 2 Oz.
