Exhaust System Help

From the information I've seen and from talking to the CES folks their pipe seems to put power in the bike in the useable range. I won't know for sure until I have mine mounted, but I can't wait. The shorties may have to make the trip to Sturgis while I'm waiting on my new pipes, but that will be the last time.

In case there is anyone out there still considering running shorties take it from me...they look cool but suck in every other department...performance, sound...everything

Most of us who have been around for a while knew they robbed torque but I always thought the sound at least would be OK. You'll be even happier with your new system then.

It's just good to know that certain mechanically-minded elves are making improvements that are available to our community of generally happy campers, thus expanding our range of choices for how each of us can set up our bikes, individually, to our satsfaction.

I doff my hat to the makers. Messrs. Carpenter, Lush, Paul Bryant, even the gone but not forgotten, Travelguy, et al, for their efforts and the smiles they ultimately make available to us. The tuners and first adopters deserve alot of credit for expanding the envelope, too!

I only see auto exhausts and not a mention of motorcycle exhausts, let alone the Rocket.

They mostly do performance car exhausts I believe.

You already asked that same question a few posts back and got the answer. He doesn't make them on his web site. He makes them in his workshop and has them for sale NOW. If you know how to send an email or use a phone, contact him.

Why do you assume mine would be tuned incorrectly?

NOT yours but if your tuning for max power in the 3k range as you said then your not going to compete with a Rocket thats tuned and running an exhaust thats made for higher rpm

Bull has one tuff pipe I seen it before it hit the road and after it road for while in one of Leigh's saddle bags on his Valkarie then it went right back on his bike thats a pretty tuff exhaust can
