Exhaust System Help

Ric at Reband has been great. I will get these on my R3 and get it dyne tuned. I expect, I'll make some serious horsepower once I get it together.
My R3 is still at the dealer arguing with the insurance company about what needs to be replaced. I've learned that Triumph no longer offers the TORS for the R3 classic and no longer offers the summer shield for the bike.
Just wonderful customer support!!
If you have a 2007 Classic like mine and destroy your exhaust or windshield, suck wind! The fact that Triumph seems to be offering less and less for the R3, leads me to believe it is going to drop the line....as in no more R3s.
I'm not sure when I'll get the R3 back so I bought an Indian Classic 2014 to have a ride for the summer.

I have to say that my interaction with CES and Les was just great as well as Reband. My decision was very close. Both companies are wonderful tp interact with and I must say that I think no one can go wrong dealing with either of these great companies.

If your insurance is being difficult about the non-availability if TORs get them to pay out for a new set of stock pipes - they cost about 3 or 4 times as much. ;)

It's more likely that some accessories for the Classic are becoming harder to find because they stopped making the Classic 5 years ago. As there's a growing selection of exhaust systems I would imagine TORs are going to be quite common around the place as people upgrade to new systems. Also, I believe any screen that would fit a Roadster would also fit a Classic.

I don't believe there are immediate plans to drop the R3 from the line up. Even the Touring seems assured for some time yet (for the US market at least). And that's not just an opinion, by the way.

A head to head comparison would be the only way to settle which system is king, but CES clearly has come up with something that has merit.
Well on the 23rd we will be putting my stock R3R with Carps, and R3Tex's R3R with CES on the same dyno with the same tuner. Only difference will be intake. I'm curious to see the difference in the actual HP, and the TQ curves.

Bet the difference is what we in Australia describe as a 'flysh!t' .. meaning very very very small ;)
