The intake not sealed shouldn't throw a light. A lot of us have totally removed the intake. Give it a few cycles (cold engine up to operating temp then cold again) and it should go out. It is likely from moving the secondary plates rod.

If you rotated the rod holding the secondaries it might throw a CEL. It should go out after a few heat cycles of the engine. Or you could rotate it back and see if that fixes it.

Welcome to the world of removing the air intake. I removed my secondaries about 2 months ago and ran into the engine light problem. If the secondary rod is not in the totally closed position(you should see the screw holes in the rod where the secondaries were) you will get an engine light. I tried the 12 min tune and used a OBD II reader to erase the code but within 500 feet the light would come on again. So i broke down the intake again turned the rod to the closed position, since then no more engine lights good luck.

I never had any thing like this happen when I took mine out. You guys performing too much exploratory surgery during the procedure?
