Dry Paper Triple Filters

Excellent .A fabrication job in the making!:Tip-Hat: Be sure to post pictures,eh?Where would the box be mounted? Above the throttle bodies?? How would you prevent water from entering ?Air intake pointing down? I guess there is always the potential for driven rain to be aspirated, but if you had the intake favouring the shelter of the bike you may avoid it ,though you may get the hot air from the bike then.I always thought the position of the stock intake was a bad choice ,as it sucks dusty air from behind the seat which is very noticeable if you ride on a dirt road.Just look at the rear guard and back of the seat next time you travel on a dirt road.
I think you may be right. I've been looking for this for years. I may just have to make it myself.

I would volunteer that a fabricated air intake opening (with air pleated filter material) should be facing the rear, rather than the front. A reversed Ram Air, so to speak... (just picture Bob Carpenter's prototype).

I think the best way would be to have it forward but tilted down. Having it rear facing means the opening would be in a vacuum and would mean less airflow

Another way would be one that swivels 180 degrees for the wet days

Ive been wondering if one of these Donaldson Power Core filters could be incorporated into ram air system for a rocket.
These filters are supposed to offer superior filtration but in a reduced size to OEM filters.
