i dropped mine, or it dropped itself
last year, the middle of june, or a year ago, i pulled my rocket out of my shop to go for a ride. i parked it on a very slight downgrade and that was my mistake. while i walked back to the shop to get my helmet, gloves and glasses and lock the shop up, it rolled off the side stand. it fell completely flat on its side so i tried the harley method. squat next to the bike, use one hand on the handgrip and the other hand between the rear tire and fender and use the thigh muscles to lift it. i got it up to the 45 degrees where it was resting on the crash bar. i stood back about 10 feet away after being unable to lift it upright. after a few minutes of studying it, i got sorta pissed off and said, hell i can do this. went back to the bike, gave it the biggest tug i could manage, and broke my back. a call to a couple of friends and they got it back in the shop for me. after the x rays and cat scan, sure 'nuff i broke the hell out of L-4. it's still sore, but i've been riding some. honestly after getting off my 08 r3 classic and getting on my 08 streetglide, my streetglide feels like a lot smaller bike. our rockets are heavy beasts, and top heavy to me anyway.
